For those World War One history buffs…

I’ve been doing some freelance work off and on for the World War One Historical Association. My connection with them originated around 2009 at Maverix Studios when I first met Dana Lombardy, nonprofit board member and Publisher of World War One Illustrated magazine.

My role for the nonprofit organization is to Art Direct and edit their video content for YouTube publication. I’ve also done some illustrations and motion comic/motion graphics work.

Here is a link to a recent Coming Events video and past event on their YouTube channel. The Title Openers and Endings were created using Adobe CC After Effects and editing was done in Adobe CC Premiere Pro. Please peruse the rest of the channel while you’re there:

A motion comic style piece I Co-Directed and Art Directed that tells an abridged story of WWI Ace Pilot Eddie Rickenbacker:

Here are a couple of Poster illustrations I created for another project involving Dana:

It’s been a fascinating collaboration, getting to do some cool period art and at the same time learn a bit more about our history during the WWI era.
